Cybersecurity modules for employees
The Information Systems office from the Central Administration of the UPR provides training modules en the following website: https://itsecurity.upr.edu/. The modules are accesible in the Moodle platform and include topics in Phishing, Ransomware, Social Engineering, data management, among others. At the end of each module the participant will receive a certificate. This certificate can be presented in the Office of Human Resources to obtain credits that count towards the requisite credits of the Government’s Ethics office.

The Department of Computer Science of the UPR-Río Piedras have online materials in Cybersecurity available for the general audience and others for the IT technical personnel. The materials for the general audience include topics in:
- Introduction to Cybersecurity (Learn about the pillars of Cybersecurity)
- Password cracking (Learn how passwords are attacker and why the need for strong passwords)
- Phishing (How they work, how to identify them)
- Digital Forensics (How to recover erased files)
The materials for the IT personnel:

- The Linux command line
- Breaking Passwords (Learn how passwords are attacker and why the need for strong passwords)
- Phishing (How they work, how to identify them)
- Digital Forensics (How to recover erased files)
- Network Forensics
- Basic Cryptography and Steganography
the practice exercises are performed in a virtual machine.
